Importing Autocad Polylines as smooth curves in Sketchup

When importing line work form autocad, any smooth curves, polylines, splines, etc come in to sketchup as faceted curves, with a setting of 12 segments. As of now, there is now way to import from autocad and have sketchup apply a smoother setting. As a result, you will have curves showing as long segments of lines which is not desirable. here are a few solutions to remember fro Sketchucation forum.

by tomsdesk on Fri Nov 30, 2007 11:51 amThe number of segments of any entity that lists as a circle or an arc can be changed in the "entity info" toolbar. Go into or explode the autocad imported component and change the number of segments of arcs and circles as desired.
